130 Days of Care, a Lifetime of Gratitude
After spending 13 days in Westmead’s Women’s Health Ward, Courtney and Josh found themselves welcoming their son, Logan, at 27 weeks and 4 days on the 23rd of July.
Logan required an extended stay in the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where he received round-the-clock care that he needed to grow and develop outside the womb. After 130 days, he was finally strong enough to go home - accompanied by a feeding tube.
The Freund family are deeply grateful for the incomparable and meticulous care from the NICU team to give Logan the best start at life. To celebrate Logan’s first birthday, Courtney and Josh are putting together a donation to support the ongoing work of the NICU, ensuring other families receive the same life-changing care they did.
