National Carers Week 2025

National Carers Week 2025, held from Sunday 12 to Saturday 18 October, celebrated the incredible Australians who dedicate their time, energy and compassion to care for others.

At Westmead Hospital Foundation, we recognised the vital role unpaid carers play in supporting patients, families and our community every day. During the week, we said thank you to all carers — for your kindness, resilience and unwavering care.

Carer's Appreciation Packs

To show our gratitude, the Foundation prepared and handed out special Carers’ Packs filled with goodies to carers across Westmead Hospital.

Each pack was a small token of appreciation for their ongoing love and commitment — a reminder that their care truly makes a difference.
