Community Support Enhancing Audiology Care
At Westmead Hospital, audiologist Belinda Kwok and her team are helping patients better understand and manage hearing and balance conditions through specialised testing and care.
Donor support has helped fund the Natus Synergy EDX System, an advanced diagnostic system that allows clinicians like Belinda to more accurately assess hearing and nerve function, supporting earlier diagnosis and more personalised care for patients.
The Team Leading Audiology Care at Westmead
The Audiology clinic at Westmead supports patients with hearing loss, dizziness and balance disorders through specialised assessment and care. Led by Belinda Kwok, they are passionate about improving patient outcomes by combining clinical expertise with advanced diagnostic technology.
“The clinic's come a long way in two years and I'm really thankful to the community support that we've got with all the funding to enable us to provide all the increased services that we now offer,” Belinda said.
The Audiology clinic at Westmead sees around 40 patients per month when patients are given a referral to her service.
