Westmead Hospital's Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Ward,  C5a treats more than 800 patients a year for blood cancers and disorders.  Some of the disorders  include: Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Multiple myeloma, Aplastic anaemia, Haemophilia and other blood disorders.

Westmead Hospital's Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Ward is a world leader and centre for excellence for blood and marrow transplantation. 

Westmead Hospital's C5a Ward is one of the only hospitals in Australia treating patients with immune effector cells (CAR T-cells), where we an genetically modify the patient's own immune cells to target their cancer. Our medical team are world leaders in this innovatve technology.
